The answer is absolutely YES. If you can speak Hungarian language or if you have fluency in English language, you can easily find a part time job in Hungary. You are allowed to work 4 hours part time during study sessions and in vacations you can work full time.

If you have any general skills then there is no need to worry about the part time job in Hungary. How is Job Market of Hungary?

Hungary has a special job market in the whole Europe all thanks to its top quality universities and relatively low living costs, providing an affordable and quality workforce to newly started business. More entrepreneurs aim to start new companies in Hungary compared to the other European countries all because of its good reputation. Hungary is good from a business point of view but I wouldn’t say that for jobs.

When Hungary joined European Union in 2014, its market became more popular for jobs and business. However, it is still not exactly a piece of cake to find a proper well paid job. Unemployment rate of Hungary was 4.7% in 2017 while unemployment rate in Pakistan was 5.9% and 4.4% in United States. We can say that employment rate in Hungary is not very bad however there is another issue blocking way for foreigners. There is a law which does not allow companies in Hungary to hire foreigners unless they show proof that no Hungarian citizen was available for this job.
