Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran,VC of Punjab University resolved to improve the Punjab University ranking through promotion of research and the campus.He talked,efforts to ensure an ideal environment for students and students or teachers political pressure would not be permitted.
Kamran criticized the role of some external politicians elements backing on the teachers and employees and a student organization for their vested interests.the Vc adding more the student should convey their ideas and talent through extra-curricular activities.he talked in interview,he had taken many steps to improve the faculty and research method and 120 PhD's had issued since became vice chancellor in 2008.
He described recently introduced mail system to coordination among campus of the University.The vice chancellor talked the University also improved linkages with foreign universities and several agreements had been signed for students exchange, foreign language courses and visits to benefit from the experience of together.
he said in the end of his speech the Government,students and Teachers have should work with collaboratively. Kamran said that he not only reorganized the human resources department(HRD) at the university but also regularized more than 2,300 people and also promoted almost 100% employees.
