Benefits of The Charles Wallace Pakistan Trust Scholarship 

  • Doctoral students will get an amount of - £1,000 annually for their PhD program 

  • Reserved fellowship- monthly stipend of £1,450, return airfare and United Kingdom visa costs.

Eligibility Criteria of The Charles Wallace Pakistan Trust Scholarship 

Doctoral Pakistani students:

  • Must be in the final year of their PhD also the student must be having excellent academic skills.

Reserved fellowship:

  • The Pakistani students applying in the scholarship must be a mid-career scholars, and is required to have no prior experience in academics outside Pakistan.

Open fellowship:

  • The applicants must be a Pakistani national who is required to be a junior or in their mid-careers especially aged between 30 to 50.

Visiting artist:

  • The artists from Pakistan is required to be familiarized with art forms, visual arts and modern. They are required to stay in art residence for the purpose of training. They must be recent graduates of National College of arts Lahore or a VASL Pakistan member.

Nationality:

  • The students must be a citizen of Pakistan.

How to Apply For The Charles Wallace Pakistan Trust Scholarship?

The following documentation is needed for each program and application procedures.

Documents Needed For Application

For Doctoral applicants:

  • Download Application form.

  • CV describing achievements till date, only two pages long.

  • The letter by the supervisor from the university in which the Pakistani students is enrolled.

For Reserved Fellowships

  • Application form at British council website.

  • The letter describing their purpose of visit and research plan.

  • A curriculum vitae.

  • Details of their experience.

For open fellowships:

  • The application form at British council website.

  • A letter about their achievements till date.

For visiting Artists

  • The proof of graduating in arts in National College of arts Lahore or VASL membership proof.

Application Procedure of The Charles Wallace Pakistan Trust Scholarship

For Doctoral Pakistani applicants:

  • The Pakistani  students applying for Charles Wallace scholarship for doctoral are first required to fill in the application form

  • Submit other documents to Tim Butchard Secretary timbutchard@wallace-trusts.org.uk  Charles Wallace Pakistan Trust 4, Dorville Crescent London W6 0HJ +44 (0)20 8741 0836 .

  • The application opens twice a year for Pakistani students.

For fellowships:

  • The  Pakistani applicants must submit the online application form along with the other documents on British council website

  • Then they will be required to visit United Kingdom on occasional basis for the purpose of research.

For visiting artist:

  • The Pakistani students in the final year of their graduation are selected for the Charles Wallace trust grants.

  • VASL also shortlists amongst its members and submit the list to gasworks.
