Eligible:
International students who wish to study for master's or PhD in Hong Kong on Scholarship.
Students can apply for a PhD degree study program in all subjects.
Criteria:
The Scholarships are open to all full-time Juris Doctor applicants (local, non-local, and worldwide).
A Selection Committee will assess applications and make a judgment on whether or not to award the Scholarship.
The academic achievements of applicants (i.e. academic success in an undergraduate degree and/or a postgraduate degree) will be considered in the selection of awardees.

City University of Hong Kong is available to students pursuing Post Doctorate and PhD programs at the City University of Hong Kong. Each academic year, a maximum of two scholarships will be awarded. Each recipient will get a HK $50,000 award. The winners will receive the Scholarship in two instalments: Semester A of Year One and Semester A of Year Two.

The French Centre for Research on Contemporary China (CEFC)
Eligible:
All EU national students are eligible to apply.
PhD programmes offered at any desired French or EU university can be applied for.
Criteria:
The applicants must submit a research project that fits into the CEFC’s scientific mission, which consists of studying the political, economic, social, and cultural changes in the People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.
