This is a full-time three-year PhD scholarship available to all eligible students commencing October 2022 at Queen’s University Belfast in the United Kingdom. Postgraduate
The postgraduate loan available to you will depend on where you are ordinarily resident before you start your course and the course you plan to study. Previous study on a postgraduate course, including any time spent registered on an integrated masters course could also impact the postgraduate loan available to you.
PhD Studentship within DECaDE
We seek applications from an enthusiastic, self-motivated student for a funded PhD studentship within the DECaDE: Centre for the Decentralized Digital Economy, led by the Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing (CVSSP) with over 30 industry partners.
Hold a first class or 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) in an appropriate discipline (e.g. engineering, computer science, signal processing, applied mathematics, and physics)
Are able to demonstrate excellent mathematical, analytic, programming skills.
Eligibility:
You must also have submitted an application for our PhD programme and received an offer.
Exclusions:
The scholarship is full-time fees only and excludes living costs, travel etc. Up to one scholarship can be provided to cover the current overseas fee (Band 1). Benefits
A stipend for 3 years (£18,622 per year for 2023/24).

Research/training costs of £750 per year covered for 3 years.
Opportunity for Doctoral Tutoring with payment at Grade 6 (£17.38 per hour).
School-funded Postgraduate Researchers have the opportunity to take up Doctoral Tutoring during the PhD.
