Admissible Criteria:
Grant is currently open for undergraduate students only and is open to both first-year (i.e. freshman) and transfer students.
S. citizens, eligible residents, and international students are eligible
Preference will be given to students from the City of Philadelphia (though all students will be considered, including international students).

Post Scholarships
In addition to its participation in federal financial aid programs, Post University offers a number of institutional scholarships. Scholarship awards have no repayment obligation. Merit-based scholarships are renewable, provided students maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress as outlined in the university catalog. Scholarships are often included as part of a total financial aid package.
This Merit Scholarship is offered to full-time, incoming freshmen with a high school GPA of 3.50 or higher. Students who are awarded this scholarship are eligible to participate in the Honors Program, and are encouraged to do so.

Scholarship for International Students
The Cascade International Student Scholarship is a merit-based award for students attending Southern Oregon University. The scholarship is for new undergraduate, graduate, and graduating SOU Intensive English Program students. The award amounts vary from $1,000 to $9,000 per academic year and is a renewable scholarship.
Merit Scholarships for First Year Students
SOU’s Office of Admissions automatically considers most first year students for merit-based scholarships upon admission through September 1st of the academic year.
