ISLAMABAD: International Islamic University announced to introduce ‘Open & Distance learning (ODL) Program’ in the area of Education, Tafseer and Quranic Studies, Hadith and its Sciences, Urdu and Persian. Knowing the importance of ODL; Dr. Ahmad Yousef Al-Draiweesh, president of IIUI has focused to launch a directorate of Distance Education.

Dean faculty of social sciences, Nabi Bux Jummani would be the director of Distance Education Directorate. IIUI has already prominent participation in open & distance learning education. University is also running two project of ODL including Shariah Ac http:// ademy and Dawah Academy.
