Scholarships for international degree students and doctoral candidates

As an international student, you are eligible for several scholarships and funding opportunities throughout the State of Bavaria and Germany. You can also count on the support of institutions like the Munich Student Union.

The Study Scholarship, available by application to LMU's International Office, is funded by the Federal State of Bavaria for international students and doctoral students at LMU who are registered at the time of application for regular full-time study programs.

The requirements for the scholarship include academic excellence, demonstrable knowledge in the applicant’s field of study, and financial need.

Benefits of Daad Scholarship 2024

Pakistani students will receive a payment of 850 euro monthly if selected for a Postgraduate (masters) course 

Pakistani students who has been selected under Doctoate  program will be granted a sum of 1200 euro monthly.

Research allowance of EUR 230.

The scholarship covers the tuition fee but the students will have to pay the enrollment fee ,registration and such extra fee on their own

Santander Scholarship International Summer University FUBiS 2024

This scholarship for the participation in Freie Universität Berlin International Summer and Winter University (FUBiS) Term III 2024 aims to facilitate a study abroad experience for economically disadvantaged students from exclusively selected regions.

Be at least 18 years old

Be at least in the second semester of their studies

Have at least intermediate level English skills (B2): self-declaration – no certificate needed

International Student Leadership Award

 Students are encouraged to highlight any of the change-making initiatives that they have championed and/or have participated in.

Change-making, by definition is the constant strive to engage in practices that bring social innovation and welfare to the college and community. Applicants must clearly demonstrate how they meet the criteria in his or her cover letter.

The Bucerius Business Excellence Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for young professionals with proven success in a business capacity or outstanding academic results in a business-related degree, seeking to apply for the Master of Law and Business (MLB/LLM) Program at Bucerius Law School.

Benefits                            

The Bucerius Business Excellence Scholarship program covers 50% of the tuition fees for the Master of Law and Business, with a total value of 12,500 EUR.

The scholarship may be combined with other scholarships, but applicants do not qualify for additional discounts on the MLB tuition fees, such as the Early Bird Discount.
