International Merit Scholarship
This merit-based scholarship, worth at least £3,000 per year, is offered to international-fee-paying students applying for an undergraduate degree (excluding Medicine and LLB Maitrise) or Master's degree at the University of Leicester. A higher-level award of £5,000 will be made to applicants demonstrating exceptional academic performance.

Scholarship overview
The Centre for Anthropology and Mental Health Research in Action (CAMHRA) is offering Master's scholarships to people who would not usually study anthropology or ethnographic methods due to existing time, financial and social constraints.
Candidate criteria
The scholarship is open to UK/EU and Overseas applicants.
Applicants for MA Medical Anthropology and Mental Health must hold a minimum 2:1 bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or related subject; OR in health sciences including medicine, psychology, nursing, social work.
Applicants for MRes Social Anthropology must hold a minimum 2:1 bachelor’s or master’s degree in Anthropology.
All candidates must have a strong idea for a research project that uses ethnographic methods to understand an issue related to mental health
Eligible programmes
Only complete full-time and part-time postgraduate taught courses that lead to a Master’s degree are included within the scholarship scheme:
Full-time course leading to a taught Master’s degree
Part-time course leading to a taught Master’s degree

How to Apply
The scholarships are automatically awarded upon successful application to the MSc in Actuarial Science program. If your application is accepted, the scholarship details will be included in your offer letter.

Postgraduate Scholarship for Academic Excellence in MSc Advanced Mechanical Engineering
The academic criteria could be in respect of an undergraduate degree for instance or could take into account any professional exams undertaken. As the number of awards is limited, where two applicants are tied, extra-curricular activity may be taken into account.
You do not need to apply for the scholarship separately, all applications from UK based students will be considered. Consideration for the scholarship will be done separately to the offer of a space within the university.
