History is the predecessor of Binzhou Medical College, founded in 1946 in the original National Shandong University School of Medicine, 1956 Medical College of Qingdao independent institution.1970in 10 months, Qingdao Medical College, Shandong Province as a whole moved to the town of North Huimin resident school district administrative office; 1974 in 11 months, the establishment of the town of North Branch of Qingdao Medical College (for the provincial undergraduate colleges); 1981 in 9 months renamed the North Town School of Medicine; 1983 in 3 months, Binzhou Medical College was renamed as the resident.2002 on 9 January Binzhou Medical College, Yantai Campus put into use.

Admission at BMU are twice a year for the MBBS program.
In March and in September
Admission Criteria
All students must be Pre Medical high school graduates. Students from some countries with less than 60% marks may have to take further lessons in Biology, Physics and Chemistry to qualify for registration (after graduation) in their own country. These will be arranged by the university.
