Who Should Apply

• We're looking for outstanding Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral students from around the globe who have some background in Computer Science—roughly the first three years of a typical Bachelor’s program—and a passion for CS research.
• If you're in the industry and you have a similar background plus an interest in academic CS research, feel free to apply.
• Students seeking thesis projects for their Bachelor’s or Master’s can also apply. If your institute allows, you can turn the internship project into a thesis.
• This is a great chance for pre-doctoral students to get a taste of computer science research before starting a research career.
• We welcome applicants from all kinds of academic backgrounds and interests, especially those that mix areas like social science, economics, law, and humanities.
• We especially encourage people from underrepresented groups in CS and other STEM fields to apply.
