Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for a Sports Scholarship, pre-entry applicants must:

• Apply for first-time admission to ATU as an undergraduate or postgraduate student.
• Take a full-time course at any ATU campus.
• Participate in a sport recognized by Sport Ireland. In exceptional circumstances, ATU may accept applications from athletes playing in sports not recognized by Sport Ireland. Be ready to compete for the university in their chosen sport.
• Have showed high achievement in their chosen sport (level of achievement is relevant to the sport) in the last two years.
• Demonstrate exceptional skill in their chosen sport and the ability to participate at the provincial, national, or international levels.

• Gold Tier: €3,000 a year
• Silver Tier: €1,500 a year
• Bronze Tier: €500 a year
