The Helmut-Schmidt-Programme 2025, commonly known as the Public Policy and Good Governance (PPGG) program, is your entry point to a fully funded master's degree in Germany. This distinguished fellowship is offered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and supported by the German Federal Foreign Office. It encourages future leaders from underdeveloped nations.

Scholarship Details

Eligibility Criteria

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, completed within the last six years.
• Academic excellence (the top third of the graduating class is recommended).
• Relevant professional or voluntary experience (internships, NGOs, and public service).
• Strong dedication to development and social justice.
• Adequate English or German proficiency (depending on the curriculum).

Scholarship Benefits

• Monthly stipend between €934 and €992 
• Covers full tuition fees 
• Health insurance in Germany 
• Travel allowance for a round-trip flight 
• Money for study and research 
• Help with rent and family support if needed 
• 4 to 6 months of German language classes before starting the program
