Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Glo-Harmony Scholarship, you need to:
- Be a citizen from a developing country (not from Korea)
- Get accepted into a degree program at SNU
- Have a solid academic background
- Show you have leadership skills and care about community service
- Meet the language requirements, which are usually about speaking English or Korean.
Benefits
For master's students, you can get financial support for up to four semesters. If you're working on a Ph.D., you can receive help for a maximum of six semesters.
The amount of money you get from this support comes from the Samsung Dreams Scholarship Foundation. They're the ones who decide how much each student will receive.

Applications to doctoral programs 2024B in UST-KASI
Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) School via the University of Science and Technology (UST) is offering doctoral (direct and integrated) scholarships starting from September 2024. PhD scholarships are provided with a competitive salary of about $1600 per month for the doctoral program.
KASI is actively involved in various fields of astronomy and astrophysics, from astronomical instrumentation to observation and theory, and participates in international collaborative and stand-alone projects including GMT, ALMA, SDSS4, DESI, LSST, KMTNet, and KVN.
