KUT Japan Special Scholarship Program:

The aim of the Kochi University Special Scholarship Program (SSP) is to support the development of advanced Research at the University by inviting Researchers from around the world. The KUT Special Scholarship Program is a 3-year doctoral Scholarship with a strong interest in engaging in Research.​

Criteria:

The Scholarship is open to all Nationals.

The supervisor must agree to host the applicants. Supervisor permission required.

Applicants must have a Comparable Master’s degree (or expected).

Age 35 or under at enrollment.

Strong academic record from reputable universities.

MEXT Japanese Government Scholarship 2026.

The MEXT Scholarship Embassy Track is one of the two primary ways to apply for the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship. In this track, you apply for the scholarship through the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in your home country.

Eligibility:

Open to All Nationalities: Applicants from all countries are eligible to apply. There is no restriction based on nationality.

Nationality Requirement: Applicants must not possess Japanese nationality.

Document Submission: Applicants must be able to provide all the required application documents.

Master’s Applicants:

Must have completed an Undergraduate program.

Final-year undergraduate students are also eligible to apply.

Ph.D. Applicants:

Must possess a Master’s degree to be eligible for Doctoral Degree programs.

IELTS Not Required: Submission of IELTS scores is not a mandatory requirement for the application.
