·         City University of Hong Kong

·         The Hong Kong Institute of Education

·         The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

·         HKAPA and the Vocational Training Council

The Talent Development Scholarship:

The Talent Development is a scholarship granted for outstanding non-academic talents like sports, arts, music etc. Students pursuing a full-time degree course can apply to this scholarship. A scholarship amount of HK$10,000 is given to the awardees.                                

The Reaching Out Award:

The Reaching Out Award (ROA rewards meritorious students from full-time publicly-funded programme. Students are enrolled in learning, internships and competitions conducted in Hong Kong and other countries. An amount of HK$10,000 is gifted to the scholarship awardees.

Hong Kong universities offer merit-based scholarships for high-ranking students admitted in different study program. The scholarships generally offer a FULL tuition fee, accommodation and general living allowance per year, and moreover, these offers are renewable to cover your entire study program at the specific institution.

The Cost of Hong Kong Living:

For self-funding students, fees range between $75,000 and $120,000 Hong Kong Dollars per year. All international students must obtain a student visa or entry permit to study in Hong Kong. Universities will usually support in visa processes.

The cost of living for foreigners who are studying in Hong Kong is quite high. However, students can use a variety of discounts to make their stay in Hong Kong more affordable. Transportation, telecommunications and healthcare cost less than in Europe or North America. Living in University- halls of residence and hostels cost HK$5,000 to HK$20,200 per semester .You should estimate US$3,900 – 7,700 per year for food, transportation, and entertainment etc.
