Welcome Office

The Welcome Office is available to assist all international students coming to the University of Pisa to visit, study or carry out research.

Services offered:

Assistance with visas for studying, scientific research, family reasons
Info for the search of accommodation
Orientation about the services available at the University of Pisa
Residency permit, health insurance coverage, Italian tax code, other practical matters 

Languages spoken:

Italian, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Hebrew.

University of Turin, applicants must be international students who hold a residence permit for international protection, temporary protection, or special protection under Italian immigration laws.

Additional Support Services: 

This includes welcome and orientation, cultural mediation, psychological support, and customized accommodation services for students with disabilities or specific learning disorders.

To be eligible for the “UniTo for Students at Risk” scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025 at the University of Turin, applicants must be international students who hold a residence permit for international protection, temporary protection, or special protection under Italian immigration laws.

The University or Turin strongly encourages and supports students’ mobility across countries and disciplines.The Erasmus+ exchange programme allows students currently studying at a European university to spend part of their study period in a partner university. 

International degree programs

The University of Turin offers a range of programs aimed at obtaining two or more academic degrees/joint degrees as well as several degree programs totally taught in English.

Students joining a double degree program or a joint degree program should directly contact the Secretariat of the related Department in Turin in order to be registered. These students will be registered as properly enrolled students and not as exchange students. 

Eligible Countries: 

Open to international students with residence permits for international protection, temporary protection, or special protection under Italian immigration regulations.

Acceptable Course or Subjects: 

Any subject offered by the University of Turin

Hold a valid residence permit for international protection, temporary protection due to the Ukrainian humanitarian emergency, or special protection

Have a foreign qualification suitable for enrollment in the 2024-2025 academic year
