They've just announced some great scholarship options for the 2025 academic year. PSU is a well-respected public university in the lovely southern part of Thailand, known for its solid research programs and global partnerships.
About the Scholarship
PSU's Faculty of Science has some full and partial scholarships available for international students wanting to pursue Master's and Doctoral degrees. They're looking to bring in talented folks from all over, especially those who have ties to partner institutions or have done an internship at PSU.

Full Scholarship (Master’s Degree)
Eligibility
You need to meet at least one of these:
- Have a published paper as the first author in a Scopus Q1/Q2 or Web of Science journal.
- Be a student or grad from a PSU partner school or MOU collaborator.
- Have done a research internship at the Faculty of Science, PSU.
Benefits
- Full tuition waiver of 56,000 THB each semester for up to 4 semesters.
- Plus, there’s a monthly stipend of 8,000 THB for up to 24 months.
Partial Scholarship (Master’s or PhD)
Eligibility
- Anyone from around the world can apply, as long as they don’t meet the criteria for the full scholarship.
Benefits
- You’ll get a full tuition waiver for up to 4 semesters for a Master’s program or 6 semesters for a PhD.
- You'll also receive some help with dorm rent, up to 7,500 THB per semester.
- Just a heads up: this doesn’t include living expenses, utilities, or off-campus rent.

Eligible:
The scholarship covers the full tuition fee.
The scholarship covers full thesis support.
The students will be provided with a living allowance of 10,000 Bhat/month.
The students will be given round-trip economy class tickets to travel to and from Thailand. (Up to maximum 20,000 Bhat/student).
A maximum of 10,000 Bhat will be granted to support miscellaneous funds such as visa fees, airport taxes, etc.
Students’ health and accident insurance will be provided.
Criteria:
The applicant must be a foreign student.
The applicant must be able to continue the master's and Ph.D. in the given fields at SIIT.
The applicant must be proficient in English and must have certified proof of it.
The applicant must have an excellent academic record and must have been in the top 20% of the class.
The applicant must have good health and good conduct.
The applicants who are recipients of other grants or scholarships can not apply.
