Benefits of the UTS 2026

The University of Twente Scholarship offers financial support that can ease the burden of studying abroad:

  • Funding between €3,000 and €22,000 for one academic year.
  • Opportunity to extend the scholarship to the second year of your Master’s program (if you achieve a minimum average grade of 7/10 and complete at least 50% of your study credits in year one).
  • Chance to apply for the Kipaji Scholarship (up to €12,000 extra funding) if you mention your interest in the motivation letter.
  • A prestigious award that boosts your CV and career prospects globally.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the UTS 2026, you must:

  • Be a non-EU/EEA student (Pakistani students are fully eligible).
  • Have received (at least conditional) admission to a UT Master’s program starting September 2026.
  • Not already hold a UT degree and not be a graduate of a Dutch university.
  • Meet the English language requirements:
    • IELTS (Academic): minimum 6.5 overall, with at least 6.0 in speaking.
    • TOEFL iBT: minimum 90 overall, with at least 20 in speaking.
  • Belong to the top 5–10% of your graduating class academically.
  • Be able to finance the remaining costs of study and living in the Netherlands (since UTS is not a full-ride scholarship).
