Apply For Japanese MEXT Undergraduate Scholarships Without IELTS

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan announced scholarships for international students who want to pursue their undergraduate studies. Each year Japanese government announced scholarships for international students including Pakistan. Those students who want to pursue their undergraduate studies can apply for these scholarships. It is a merit based scholarship, students with excellent educational scores can apply for the scholarship. Minimum required marks percentage to become4 eligible for MEXT scholarship is 80%. Japanese universities offer each study discipline for undergraduate studies.

Duration of Scholarship: 5 years including 1 year for Japanese language, and 7 years for medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and pharmacy courses

MEXT Scholarship Benefits 

MEXT scholarship will provide following benefits to the selected candidates

• Stipend of 117,000 Yen per month with additional allowance of 2000-3000 Yen studying/ research allowance in special designed areas 

• Total education tuition fees will be paid by MEXT

• One time air ticket from home country to Japan and from Japan to home country when degree ends

• Accommodation will be provided to students at university

Eligibility Criteria For MEXT Scholarship Application

• Applicant must be Pakistani

• Applicant’s age must be 18 years who are applying for undergraduate degree

• Applicant must be willing to learn Japanese language

• Must be in good health condition

• Applicants must have been completed 12 years of schooling in countries other than Japan

Documents Required For MEXT Scholarship Application

Following documents must be attached with application form

• Mark sheet form

• Application form

• Academic detail marks sheet

• Attested  copy of certificate of secondary and higher secondary school

• Recommendation letter from a school teacher

• Attested copy of certificate of enrollment (if applicable)

• Hope certificate for students whose final result is expected by August 2022

• The selected candidate will be informed by e mail after interviews
