However, as per the latest information, on July 17th, 2023, the home office has restricted international students from changing their study visa to work visa without completing their education. There has been no ultimatum or deadline by the government, and the decision has been implemented immediately to control the net immigration rate.

UK Government Has Raised The Salary Of Skilled Workers

The United Kingdom government has also reaffirmed its dedication to the International Education Strategy, which is crucial in boosting the UK's economy through the financial support that international students can provide. One of the many proposals includes increasing the salary of the main skilled work visa to £38,000, which could lead to a cut down of immigration numbers by 54,000.
