This scholarship will take a few selected leaders to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany, happening from November 3–6, 2025. It’s more than just a conference; it's a gathering of young leaders who want to drive social change together.

About the Scholarship

The dsm-firmenich Progress Foundation Scholarship 2025 is here to help young entrepreneurs who want to make a difference in their communities, whether locally or globally. They’re focusing on three main areas:

• Tackling malnutrition.
• Helping communities become more resilient.
• Protecting and restoring ecosystems.

Program Details

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the One Young World Summit 2025, you need to meet these criteria:

• Be between 18 and 30 years old at the time of the Summit.
• Live in Africa, Asia-Pacific, or Latin America.
• Have 3 to 5 years of experience in business, ideally having run your own venture.
• Be involved in making a positive impact in one of these areas:
  • Fighting malnutrition
  • Building community resilience
  • Protecting and restoring ecosystems
• One Young World will prioritize candidates who haven’t had much chance for national or international exposure.

Most participants fall between 18 and 30 years old, but the team will consider older candidates if they can show strong personal impact and a desire to engage. Unfortunately, we can't accept anyone under 18 by the time of the Summit.

What the Scholarship Covers?

If you win the dsm-firmenich Progress Foundation Scholarship, you'll get:

• Attend the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany.
• Your hotel stay is from October 31 to November 8.
• You'll have economy travel to and from Munich.
• All meals are included, which means breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the conference days.
• We'll also take care of the transport between your hotel and the summit venue.
• Additionally, there's a pre-program in Munich, and you can join the dsm-firmenich group during the summit.
