Fully Funded Youth Leadership Forum 2025 in Iceland | ICIMOD & Arctic Circle

For young climate leaders in Pakistan or other Hindu Kush Himalayan (HKH) countries, an opportunity exists to engage on a global scale. Applications are being accepted for the Hindu Kush Himalaya–Arctic Youth Leadership Forum 2025. This funded program will gather young leaders from the HKH and Arctic areas in Reykjavík, Iceland, to work together on climate action and sustainable growth.

About the Youth Leadership Forum 2025

The Hindu Kush Himalaya–Arctic Youth Leadership Forum provides a special place for young leaders from climate-vulnerable areas to be heard. Taking place in Iceland in October 2025, the forum will center on climate leadership, sharing stories, and exchanging knowledge between regions.

Because the HKH area is warming twice as fast as the rest of the world, and the Arctic is warming even faster, this forum is meant to connect mountain and polar groups. It aims to give young people the ability to shape climate discussions and policies.
