About the Program
The Harpswell Leadership Residents (LR) Program brings female leaders from other countries to Cambodia. They mentor, teach, and encourage bright women in college there. The residents live and work at the Harpswell Leadership Center, where they help youngsters from low-income backgrounds succeed academically and as leaders.
Participants acquire practical experience in cross-cultural leadership development while living in a thriving community of changemakers.

Eligibility Criteria
- Identify as a woman with a university degree.
- Be fluent in English.
- Have at least two years of professional experience.
- Demonstrate considerable interest in women's empowerment, education, or leadership.
- Be open-minded, adaptable, and culturally aware.
- Be available for the entire duration of the selected term.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Leader Resident, you will:
- Harpswell's curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, leadership, and communication
- Provide English tutoring and academic support.
- Mentor students in one-on-one sessions.
- Plan workshops and cultural exchange events.
- Encourage community building and leadership in the household.
Benefits
The Harpswell Program offers a fully funded experience, including:

For the 12-month LR Fellowship, the stipend is USD $420/month, and the fellow also takes on team leadership and program coordination.
