INSAIT Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program Bulgaria 2025 | Fully Funded

The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program allows highly motivated undergraduate students from all around the world to do research throughout the summer under the supervision of INSAIT faculty members. The curriculum is based on the most successful summer research programs at MIT, Caltech, and ETH Zurich.

Applications are now available for the INSAIT Summer Research Fellowship 2025 in Bulgaria. It is a fully funded 8–12 week summer internship for international students from all around the world. There are no application fees.

Financial Benefits

The program covers the following:

• Monthly Stipend: Each student will get a monthly stipend of 1500 EUR to cover living expenses.
• INSAIT will arrange and pay for the lodging.
• Travel expenses will be borne by INSAIT.
• Visa Assistance: INSAIT will assist selected candidates with their visa applications.
• Vacation during the summer Fellowship.

Eligibility criteria

• The INSAIT Bulgaria Summer Research Fellowship is open to all nationals.
• Undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor's degree at any authorized university are eligible to apply.
• First-year undergraduate students are also eligible to apply.
• Students should be majoring in a STEM field such as computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering.
• A minimum GPA of 3.5 (out of 4.0) is necessary.
