MS Research Assistantship
Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) performs research duties according to the educational goals and tasks vary by graduate faculty. Research work may be part of a long-term research project, dissertation or thesis. GRA position is a paid student’s ship along with an MS degree program. A GRA position is available at the Olathe Horticulture Research and Extension Centre of Kansas State University under the supervision of Doctor Ravneet Sandhu regarding the production of open-field small fruit in Kansas. The GRA will start in Spring 2025.
Dr. Ravneet Sandhu is a Research Assistant Professor at the Olathe Horticulture Research and Extension Center (OHREC). She has an extensive research experience in fruit crop production and weed-pesticides management.
Qualification
A Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science/ Horticulture or in relevant discipline.
Field research experience, preferred in plant production and cultivation
Leadership and organizational skills, team collaboration, passionate and willing to take initiatives in projects.
