NSTC International Internship 2025 in Taiwan | Fully Funded with NT$1,000 Daily Stipend

The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) has started a new pilot program for international internships. This program aims to show international students what makes Taiwan stand out in science and technology. We're really hoping that a few of these interns will stick around to further their education or kick off their careers right here in Taiwan. This program could really boost the talent pool in important research areas.

The internship lasts between 1 to 3 months and can start anytime from June to December 2025. NSTC is looking for students who are currently studying for their Undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD degrees at foreign universities. Those chosen for the internship will get the chance to work at various academic and research institutions in Taiwan. There are different positions openings in a bunch of different areas. Whether you're into science and tech, engineering, modern farming, the humanities, social sciences, or even the digital economy, there's something for everyone. No matter what your interests are, you can find a position that fits.

Who can apply?

• The NSTC internship is open for applications to all foreign nationals. 
• Citizens from China, Macau, and Hong Kong are not able to apple for this prestigious internship.
• You should be working on a bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD at a foreign school. 
• We're looking for applicants who are interested in important research areas in Taiwan. 
• You need to be good at English.
