One Young World 2025: Hauwa Ojeifo Scholarship for Women – Fully Funded

In a world where women and girls still deal with serious issues, like not having enough access to healthcare and education and facing stigma around mental health, new female leaders are stepping up to make a difference. The Hauwa Ojeifo Scholarship, created with One Young World, is a great way to support these women who are working hard to improve their communities.

This scholarship is more than just an award—it's about making a real difference and giving these leaders the chance they deserve.

Who Was Hauwa Ojeifo?

Hauwa Ojeifo is a Nigerian advocate for mental health and a survivor of sexual violence who channels her experiences into creating positive change. After being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD, she started She Writes Woman in 2016. This movement aims to offer mental health support, legal help, and safe spaces for women and girls in Nigeria.
