Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants should be established, independent researchers.
- They need a permanent or long-term academic job at a UK institution.
- Applicants also need teaching or administrative work that takes up at least 25% of their contract.
- Applications must have a co-applicant from a different academic area that fits within the guidelines of the three Academies.
Funding and Benefits
- Each grant can be as high as £200,000.
- Up to £10,000 is available for activities that engage the public.
- Funding may be used for:
- Salary costs, like replacing teaching or administrative duties, paying research staff, and supporting PhD students.
- Research expenses should not exceed 25% of the total budget.
- Public engagement events or materials.
