If you've ever wanted to help raise the prominence of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities, the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center (APAC) provides an excellent chance for students and recent graduates to accomplish just that. Their 2025 internship programs not only provide hands-on experience in the heart of one of the world's most prestigious institutions, but they also allow interns to interact with the cultural richness and diversity of the AANHPI communities.
The APAC uses exhibitions, programs, and research to promote the voices of AANHPIs. As an intern, you will work on a variety of projects, including exhibition curation, community engagement, education programs, and research activities. This experience will provide you with essential skills and knowledge in the fields of museum studies, cultural preservation, public programming, and others. Furthermore, you will have the unique chance to work with experts that are dedicated to recognizing and advancing AANHPI narratives.
