Eligibility Criteria

The program accepts undergraduate and graduate students from UC San Diego's partner universities. To qualify, students must:

• Be currently enrolled in a degree program.
• Possess strong academic qualifications.
• Standardized examinations can be used to demonstrate English ability.
  • TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 83.
  • IELTS (Academic): A minimum score of 7.0
  • Duolingo English Test (DET): The minimum score is 115.
• Commit to participation for the entire course of the program.

Program Costs & Financial Information

The entire program cost is $5,500 USD and includes:

• On-campus lodging (a single room for the entire nine-week time).
• Visa document processing fees
• Research supplies and lab fees
