About the Programme
The Junior Fellows Internship Programme at the Rector's Office is meant to:
- Bring together young scholars and professionals with UNU.
- Offer practical experience at a UN organization.
- Give participants a glimpse into office work.
- Assist with tasks at the Rector's Office.
Interns will help out with different tasks like admin work, research, project planning, organizing events, handling meeting details, and supporting communication efforts.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be actively pursuing or have recently finished (within two years) postgraduate studies (Master's or Doctoral level), particularly in a field linked to UNU's activity.
- Applicants must be under 32 years old at the time of application.
- Have no more than 5 years of experience in their relevant sector.
- Native or fluent in written and spoken English.
- Exhibit exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Be fluent in MS Office applications; familiarity with ICT tools and a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel are preferred.
- Demonstrate an interest in the activities of the United Nations and UN University.
