World Forum for Democracy 2025 in Strasbourg, France

The World Forum for Democracy 2025 is going to take place in Strasbourg, France, from November 5 to 7, 2025. This yearly event, put together by the Council of Europe, is all about discussing what's going wrong with democracy today. It's the 13th time this forum has been held, and the topic this time is “Democracy at Risk: How Can We Revive It?

It’s a chance for leaders, experts, and regular folks to come together and talk about the challenges that democracies are facing around the globe. You know, things like misinformation, political unrest, and the impact of social media all play a part in this discussion. The goal is to find ways to strengthen democratic values and figure out what we can do to help our systems thrive again.

This gathering promises to be a significant occasion for sharing ideas, experiences, and hopefully, some solutions. People from different backgrounds will be joining in, bringing their perspectives and insights to the table. It's a crucial time to consider how we can work together to tackle the issues that put democracy in danger. So, if you’re interested in the future of democracy, this forum is definitely one to keep an eye on!
