The Youth Empowerment Forum 2025 is all about getting young people involved and helping them make a difference. It matches the EU Youth Strategy 2019–2027, which aims to involve young people and promote connections between countries. It also goes hand in hand with the UN’s Youth2030 Strategy that helps young people achieve their goals and speak up for their rights. This forum aims to give young changemakers the tools and support they need to create real change in their communities and beyond.
The forum is here for participants to share their real experiences, such as:
- Interactive Workshops: Practical workshops on leadership, making policies, and dealing with global issues.
- Panel Discussions: Long conversations with diplomats, lawmakers, and experts.
- Policy Dialogues: Conversation about how to get young people involved, make development sustainable, and come up with new ideas.
- Study Trip to the United Nations HQ: Take a closer look at international diplomacy and how decisions are made.
- Visit to CERN: Check out one of the top physics labs in the world, where the World Wide Web was created. You can also see its cool exhibits on particle physics and other amazing scientific breakthroughs.
- Swiss Cultural Experience: Try some classic Swiss dishes while meeting and chatting with people from around the world.
