The China University of Petroleum has established this scholarship for overseas undergraduate students. This scholarship is open for all majors offered at the university. The students that will be selected will be provided tuition fee exemption, accommodation, health insurance, and a monthly allowance.

Admission Requirements:
The applicants must be high school graduates under the age of 25 to be eligible to get admitted to an undergraduate programme at CUP.
Language Requirement:
Applicants for undergraduate programs need to provide IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 75 or above, or proof of language proficiency at the corresponding level. Applicants with strong Chinese proficiency are preferred. Undergraduate programs require applicants to have Chinese proficiency of 222 or above at the HSK-4 level.

USTC Fellowship Program Eligibility Criteria
For bachelor’s programs, all candidates must have a high school/ intermediate certification.
To apply for master’s program applicants must have a bachelor’s degree equivalent to the Chinese educational standard. .
Similarly, for the PhD or doctoral program applicants must hold a master’s degree that meets the Chinese equivalency criteria.
In addition to applying for programs in the Chinese language, applicants must have achieved a minimum of HSK Level 4 or higher. Meanwhile, for programs taught in English, applicants must provide proof of their English language competence.
