Maynooth University is offering the Edgeworth Graduate Student Scholarship 2025 for a Masters degree in Economics. The deadline for sending your application is March 7, 2025. This scholarship is sponsored by Maynooth University National University of Ireland, Maynooth (NUIM) and has a value of Partial Funding, EUR 5,000 fee reduction. The scholarship is offered to all nationals.

Eligibility Criteria
- One-Year MSc Economics Applicants (PAC Code: MHH52) Must complete the program's entry standards and have at least a 2.1 overall GPA in their undergraduate honors degree (level 8 or equivalent). If the undergraduate degree has not yet been completed, please send the most recent academic transcript.
- Two-Year MSc Economics Students (PAC codes: MHH70 and MHH53): Eligible to apply in their second year if they achieved a minimum overall score of 2.1 in the first year of the program.
- Both Maynooth University alumni and those from other universities are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants must apply for the MSc Economics program through the PAC online site.
- Scholarship recipients must perform ambassadorial duties for the Department of Economics, such as attending university open days and promoting the scholarship to future applicants.
Application Process
- All qualified candidates must apply for the MSc Economics Program at the Department of Economics through the PAC online portal.
- They must submit a short statement (about 150 words) explaining why the candidate needs the scholarship and why they chose the MSc in Economics program.
- They must send the statement to (alexander.farnell@mu.ie), with (aedin.doris@mu.ie) copied.
Value of the Scholarship
Non-EU students can get grants ranging from €1,000 to €5,000 to reduce their tuition fees for the academic year 2025-2026.
