The Playford Trust, in partnership with the South Australian Division of the Geological Society of Australia (GSA), offers an annual scholarship to an outstanding student entering a full-time Honours year in earth sciences at a South Australian public universit
Criteria:
Candidates ready to commence a full-time Honors (or equivalent) degree in earth sciences at any one of the three universities,
an Australian or New Zealand citizen or a holder of a permanent resident visa and resident in South Australia
intending to spend a significant part of their career in South Australia or to provide a benefit to the State

Curtin University RTP Scholarship :
It is a Fully Funded Scholarship for International and Domestic students to pursue a Master’s by Research or PhD by Research at Curtin University. This is a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Program. Applicants from around the world are eligible to apply for the RTP Scholarship at Curtin University. This scholarship is funded by the Australian Government and administered by Curtin.
Criteria:
The Scholarship is open to International students and Domestic students.
You must have a Bachelor’s Degree.
You must receive an invitation from the Supervisor, then you can apply for the RTP Scholarship and attach the acceptance letter.
After the acceptance, you can submit your application for admission.


University of Sydney AGRTP Scholarship 2026 in Australia
The scholarship is fully funded by the Australian Government, covering all expenses. Importantly, a separate application for the scholarship is not required. To be considered, you must submit your application for a research degree program before the scholarship application deadline and receive an offer from a supervisor.
Criteria:
The University of Sydney RTP Scholarship is open to all Nationals.
You can only apply for the RTP Scholarship if you have received an offer into a higher degree by research program.
Develop your research proposal and find a supervisor. Before you submit your application, you must first secure a supervisor.
A master’s degree is required to apply for a PhD in research.
You also need to meet the English Language Requirements.




Aberdeen Global Scholarship - Postgraduate (For Academic Year 2025/26)
The scholarship is available to all self-funded full-time on campus Masters students classified as international fee status and starting their studies in either September 2025 or January 2026. The scholarship applies to both taught and research Masters (research Masters that start outside of September or January in the 2025/26 academic year are still eligible for the scholarship). The scholarship is in the form of a tuition fee waiver.
To be eligible students must be registering for a full-time on campus program and cannot be in receipt of external scholarships or other University of Aberdeen scholarships, except for awards granted by the University of Aberdeen Development Trust. Please note that the scholarship does not apply to the DPLP or Dentistry.


ANU University Research Scholarships
The Scholarship will be given based on Academic merit. ANU is a public University located in Canberra. Each year the Australian National University offers the University Research Scholarship to support high achieving HDR students who are conducting research, which aligns with the strategic directions of the University.
Eligibility
The award will be available each year to a prospective or continuing student who:is a domestic student or an international student enrolled in an accredited HDR course of study at the University has achieved a minimum of Honours (H1) or H1 equivalent in their prior studies
Selection
Selection of this award requires each of the ANU Colleges to convene a selection committee to score and rank ALL eligible H1 (or equivalent) applicants in a merit-based process. Overall ranking includes consideration of:
