Benefits of the Master Mind Scholarship
Successful candidates will get the following benefits:
- Financial Grant: €10,000 every academic year (for a 60-credit master's program).
- Tuition charge Waiver: Students are exempt from tuition fees, but must pay a minor administrative enrollment charge.
- Living Allowance: The grant is paid out in installments to cover housing, insurance, and everyday living expenditures.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Master Mind Scholarship at Hasselt University, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Excellence requires a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 out of 4.0.
- English language proficiency:
- IELTS: A minimum score of 7.0.
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 94.
- Cambridge English Advanced (CAE): Level C1, or equivalent
- The IELTS and TOEFL online versions are accepted.
- Applicants must not be currently enrolled in a Flemish higher education institution, with the exception of those in a preparatory program leading to a master's degree.
- Nationality: Open to all nationalities except Russian. Applicants must have previously acquired a degree from a non-Flanders university.
- Other Restrictions: The scholarship cannot be coupled with other Flemish Government or Erasmus Mundus scholarships.
