The scholarship will be awarded in Surveying/Geomatics.
Applicants must be registered solely in a surveying/geomatics academic program that teaches surveying in a country listed by the World Bank as a low-income, lower-middle or upper-middle income economy.
Applicants must be studying for a PhD degree.
The PhD position is a 3 year full-time contract and part of the European Research Council Advanced Grant project ‘Global Value Chain Law: Constituting Connectivity, Contracts and Corporations’ (GLOBALVALUE).
Benefits
The winners of the PhD scholarship will receive a monthly salary is currently approximately DKK 28,897 up to DKK 34,898 depending on seniority and a pension contribution totalling 17.1%.
The scholarship includes tuition fees, office space, course and travel costs (according to the current CBS agreement).
The educational award is available for highly motivated international students to apply for a three-year PhD scholarship program at the University of Southern Denmark.
Criteria:
Experience with cell biology or NGS data analysis. Competence in adipose tissue biology, mouse physiology, immunology, or transcriptional regulation would be an advantage.
Strong communication and collaborative skills and an interest in working in an interdisciplinary environment.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
At the Department of Law, University of Southern Denmark, 1-2 PhD fellowships in EU law will be available as of 1 January 2024, or by further agreement. The place of work will be SDU Campus Odense.
Qualification requirements
Applicants should hold a cand.jur (LL.M.), cand.merc.jur, or other form of postgraduate legal education. If candidates have not completed their legal education yet, they should be able to demonstrate proof of being about to complete it.
