Students who wish to apply for a PhD degree must first complete a research master's degree at the Queensland University of Technology.

You will receive a living stipend of $37,000 per year, which includes a base stipend of $30,000 and a top-up of $7,000 per year for 3.5 years, subject to satisfactory progression. For full-time students, this amount is tax-free.
For a maximum of four years, you will also receive a full tuition fee offset (domestic students) or a full tuition fee sponsorship (international students).
