Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) is one of the Ministry of Education’s 71 key universities.

Acceptable Course or Subjects:
The scholarship will be awarded for bachelor, master, and PhD degrees in a range of subject areas as mentioned in the SWUFE 2023 Major List.
Criteria:
Applicants must abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and local government as well as the regulations of SWUFE.
Applicants have had a nationally recognized high school diploma (applying for a bachelor’s degree program), bachelor’s degree (applying for a master’s degree program) or master’s degree (applying for a doctoral degree program).

The program is open for international students pursuing a degree program at SWUFE starting in 2023. Selected students will receive a full or partial scholarship to support their studies in China.

Requirements For CSC Scholarship
Applicants must fulfill specific requirements and submit required documentation to be considered for the CSC scholarship. These consist of organized curriculum vitae, an engaging personal introduction and an extensive study schedule customized to their academic objectives.
In addition, a confirmation notification from a Chinese university and letters of recommendation from educational or professional referees are usually required of applicants.
Eligibility:
Must be a Pakistani or AJK national when applying through HEC portal
Applicants must be medically fit without any health issue
Must have degree of passed examination, whose degrees are in process or not completed cannot apply for CSC scholarships
They also have to meet the Chinese University’s additional criteria
Categories Of CSC Scholarships
There are three types of scholarships announced by China Scholarship Council
Chinese Government Scholarship Type A
Through this scholarship type students can apply directly to the China embassy for CSC scholarship, and students can apply to maximum two universities through this category.
Chinese Government Scholarship Type B
Through this type, applicants can apply through Chinese universities for CCS Scholarships. Though they can apply to 3 universities by this CSC Scholarship category/ type.
USTC Fellowship Program Eligibility Criteria
For bachelor’s programs, all candidates must have a high school/ intermediate certification.
To apply for master’s program applicants must have a bachelor’s degree equivalent to the Chinese educational standard. .
Similarly, for the PhD or doctoral program applicants must hold a master’s degree that meets the Chinese equivalency criteria.
In addition to applying for programs in the Chinese language, applicants must have achieved a minimum of HSK Level 4 or higher. Meanwhile, for programs taught in English, applicants must provide proof of their English language competence.
Eligibility
Be non-Chinese citizen with a valid passport, friendly to China and abiding by the laws and decrees of China, and UCAS rules and regulations.
Be proficient in English or Chinese;
For PhD program applicants: be born after 1st January 1989 (inclusive);
For Master's program applicants: be born after 1st January 1994 (inclusive);
For Senior visiting students: be born after 1st January 1979 (inclusive);
For Regular visiting students: be born after 1st January 1984 (inclusive);
For joint program applicants: no age limitation.

Students must complete the USJ Community Fellowship Application Form and submit the necessary supporting documentation.
If an interview is required, a limited number of qualifying applicants will be invited.
The candidates’ results will be determined by the USJ Scholarship and Fellowship Committee based on academic merit and financial status.
