Women in STEMM & Students with Disabilities
UniSQ is all about inclusivity in research. They offer scholarships for women in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine) and students with disabilities. The purpose is to promote diversity in research and increase participation by underrepresented groups.
Who Can Apply?
To apply for the DPHD Scholarship, you have to:
- Be an international student (no Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency required).
- Possess a Bachelor's degree with First Class Honours, or something comparable.
- Sign up for a full-time PhD program at UniSQ and attend classes on campus.
- Plan to begin or continue with your PhD in 2025.
Scholarship Inclusions
This distinguished scholarship helps foreign PhD applicants in two main areas:
- Annual Living Stipend: AUD $37,000 (tax-free) to cover living expenses for three years.
- Tuition Fee Coverage: All overseas tuition fees are waived for the duration of the PhD program.
This full support allows researchers to concentrate solely on their research without the financial burden of tuition or living expenses.
