About ASEFYLS6

The ASEF Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS) gathers young people from Asia and Europe at one platform. It focuses on three main areas of leadership: personal leadership (you), team leadership (we), and societal leadership (all).

Society 5.0 focuses on putting people at the center while tackling social issues and mixing the digital world with everyday life. At ASEFYLS, we'll talk about the kind of leadership we need for this vision and how young people can get ready for a fair, sustainable future that welcomes everyone and makes use of technology.

Program Details

Summit Phases & Timeline

The 6th ASEF Young Leaders Summit is all about youth leadership and how it fits into the idea of 'Leadership in Society 5.0.' This summit will include online and in-person events from July to October 2025.

The ASEFYLS6 program has three parts, designed to help participants learn, team up with others, and tackle global issues using technology.

Knowledge Building Phase | July 29 – August 26, 2025 | Online

Join us for a deep dive into Leadership and Society 5.0 with training sessions led by experts and discussions with top leaders.

Leadership in Action Phase | August 27 – September 28, 2025 | Online

You'll team up with participants from Asia and Europe to tackle real-world challenges, sharing ideas and strategies for using technology to address social issues.

Youth Summit | September 29 – October 5, 2025 | Osaka, Japan

This is a great chance to connect with others, learn from experts, network, and engage with the local community.

Are You The One We Are Looking For?

We're looking for applicants who fit these criteria:

• You need to be a citizen of one of the approved Asian or European countries.
• You should be a student or young professional aged 18-30.
• Proficient in speaking and writing  English.
