New Innovative feature introduced by British Council ILETS in Pakistan

Good News! For IELTS takers in Pakistan, Now, Students have the option to retake the IELTS exams if their first score was below their target. The British Council has unveiled a transformative feature for IELTS test takers who aim to improve their scores.

Maarya Rehman, The Deputy Director of the British Council in Pakistan, emphasizes their commitment to helping you all to reach your full potential. They want you to achieve your best score, and there is a new way to empowering you to do that

There is a new innovative feature, named as "One Skill Retake”, which offers candidates the opportunity to reattempt a single section of the IELTS test, in listening, reading, writing, or speaking. ‘One Skill Retake’ empowered candidates to revisit a specific skill if they believed their initial performance didn’t accurately reflect their English proficiency, this innovation is taken to promote fairness.

Benefits of taking IELTS One Skill Retake

IELTS One Skill Retake gives you a second chance to show your English level and improve your score in one section without having to retake the full test.
You can save time and money by only doing the part of the test related to one skill rather than testing all four skills again.
You will receive a new IELTS Test Report Form with your IELTS One Skill Retake score. It also includes the scores from your original test and an overall CEFR score.
Your results will be valid for two years from the original test date, which you can find on your Test Report Form.
There will be no change to your other scores from your original test. And once you’ve received your results, if you would prefer to use your original score, you can.
IELTS One Skill Retake follows the same format and timing as the regular IELTS test. This means you will already be familiar with the test. You don’t need to worry about preparing for a new exam and learning different task types.
‘One Skill Retake’ option can provide candidates with the flexibility to meet entry requirements while maintaining high standards.

Book IELTS 'One Skill Retake' from Pakistan

Booking 'One Skill Retake' is straightforward. Here's what you need to do is

After your first IELTS test, wait for the results.
If you're not satisfied with your score in a particular skill, you have 60 days to book a 'One Skill Retake.'
You have to take the same format and timing as the original test, but only for the skill you want to improve.
If you would like to improve one result, simply click on the 'Retake' button for the skill that you would like to retake.
Once you succeed in the retake, you'll receive a new Test Report Form.
