CERN annually chooses a few undergrads in administrative areas for practical learning within a global environment. This funded internship lets students use what they've learned and help CERN advance science and innovation.

Eligibility Criteria
For consideration, applicants have to meet these conditions:
- Applicants must be citizens of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
- By the selection period in November 2025, candidates must have finished a minimum of 18 months (3 semesters) of undergraduate work in an administrative area.
- Students attending CERN need to be enrolled as full-time university students.
- A solid command of either English or French is needed.
- Candidates should not be in a STEM/engineering field. Those students can apply to CERN’s Technical Student Programme.
Benefits Package
CERN provides its interns with:
- A contract lasting between 2 and 12 months.
- A monthly allowance of CHF 3,452.
- Reimbursement for a round-trip flight.
- A family allowance (for those who are married or have children).
- Health insurance (with contributions deducted from the allowance).
- Paid time off: 2.5 days per month.
