What Is the Global Leadership Program?

Starting in 2024, there's going to be this cool Global Leadership Program. It's all about bringing together a bunch of Canadian professionals from various backgrounds, whether they are from government, non-profits, academia, or businesses. The idea is to get these folks to work on some really tough global problems and think of some fresh and innovative ways to solve them.

Participants will have meaningful discussions and learn from each other about Canada’s impact on building a more peaceful and diverse world. The program encourages people to think critically, supports inclusive leadership, and helps create lasting professional relationships.

Program Details

Program Structure

The program lasts for a few months and combines online learning with some face-to-face activities:

• Online Resources and Sessions: There will be discussions and lectures with experts in the field.
• In-Person Seminar: You'll get to join a lively four-day event in Ottawa, Canada

• Inclusive governance and pluralism
• Climate change and environmental issues
• Gender equality and social justice
• Decolonization and reconciliation
• Global development and economic change
