The Government of Pakistan has officially announced an exciting opportunity for high-achieving matric students. Under this new initiative, top performers from all Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) across the country will be rewarded with an educational and cultural trip to Türkiye. The program is being organized by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports.

This step aims to acknowledge the hard work of outstanding students and to give them global exposure at an early stage of their academic journey.

Who is Eligible?

Only those students who secured top positions in matriculation examinations from recognized boards in Pakistan are eligible. Each board will nominate its top achievers, ensuring representation from across the country.

Key Requirements for Selected Students

To ensure smooth travel arrangements, students will need to meet certain conditions:

  • Fitness certificate: A medical fitness certificate issued by a government hospital.
  • Parental consent: Written approval from parents or guardians is mandatory.
  • Dress code: Students must bring two sets of white shalwar kameez with white shoes. A green blazer will be provided by the ministry.
  • Luggage rules: Only one shoulder bag is allowed. Laptops, cameras, and extra items are strictly prohibited.
  • Emergency contacts: Students must provide complete parent or guardian contact details in advance.

Documentation & Submission Deadline

All participating boards must submit the following to the IBCC Secretariat in Islamabad:

  • Official passports of the selected students.
  • Required supporting documents.

The final deadline for submission is September 19, 2025. Boards are also responsible for arranging pick-and-drop facilities for the students, and all related expenses will be covered by the respective boards.

Oversight and Coordination

To ensure transparency and smooth management, chairpersons of all boards will supervise the process. The IBCC will coordinate with relevant government departments to finalize travel, logistics, and compliance requirements.

Why This Matters

This initiative highlights the government’s commitment to encouraging academic excellence and motivating students to achieve more. Beyond recognition, it also provides:

  • A chance for students to experience international exposure.
  • Opportunities to learn about Turkish culture, history, and education.
  • A platform to build confidence and leadership skills.
