Because of investment in education peoples are well educated and have the standard of living and spending quality of life. Finland’s education system is very much advance in the world.

Importance of Finland as a Study Destination

The educational institutions in Finland are not very complex that’s why it’s easy to operate them effectively. In Finland students find different kind of environments from urban to close to nature in different institutions.

The higher education institutes are highly funded by Ministry of Education that’s why Ministry also closely looks for quality of education. There are varieties of programmes taught in English at all levels of education, and skills by which the students can build future in the job market.

Over 450 degree and non-degree programmes are taught in English and usually whole degree programmes take years to complete and leads to official degree of bachelor, masters or Doctoral.

The Finnish higher education policy based on basic education, student selection of higher education based on competition. Finnish students are deeply involved in studies unlike other countries they take more interest in studies as compared to other country students.

In Finland there are many facilities that are provided to students such as free internet facility for all the students, free access to the library through library card etc.

Finland is an organized country where all the public and private services run efficiently by Police, Rescue services etc. there banking services also well organized and best in the world.

Application Procedure in Finland

Each university in Finland selects students itself. The students have to select the program in which they want to apply. Also they should select documents before application deadline. Students who get admission in university can then start arrangements for Finland arrival.

There is an electronic/ online admission system available on internet by which students can apply for Bachelor or Masters Programmes. They also need to send copies of educational documents and after that they have to successfully pass the entrance examination.

In Finland academic year has been divided into two terms:

·         August-September to Dec (autumn term)

·         January to end of May (spring term)

In most of the degree programmes the universities take students in autumn term but it’s possible that sometimes they take students in spring term as well. But it depends on program and institute regarding exact time and deadline, usually it begins in between November and January.

For taking admission in Masters you can find a list of Master’s level universities that give admission via UAF but some universities do not give admission through UAF route, they have their own separate route. So when anyone applies for Master’s or Bachelor they should contact that university directly for getting information about admission route.
