What Is the KatipAta Program?

KatipAta’s mission is to strengthen diplomatic, academic, and cultural ties between Türkiye and eligible Turkic nations. The program combines comprehensive Turkish language training (A2 to B2 level) with cultural immersion, seminars, institutional visits, and network-building activities to foster sustainable cooperation.

Who Should Apply?

This program is tailored for:

• Public  officials with 3+ years of work experience (advanced degrees preferred)
• Academic and researchers currently employed at universities or institutes
• Under 40, with English proficiency. 
• Foreign nationals, not residing in Türkiye, not currently enrolled in other Turkey scholarships.

What’s included?

• Turkish language training (A2 → B2 levels)
• Weekly seminars led by expert speakers on Turkish history, politics, culture, and more
• Cultural excursions to historical and modern Turkish sites
• Institutional visits to ministries, media outlets, NGOs, and universities
