Eligibility Criteria
To apply to the 2026 McDonald Fellowships, you must:
- To qualify, you need to be from a country that doesn't have a high income level. This generally means you’re living in a nation where the economy might be developing, and the average earnings are lower than in wealthier places.
- Have at least a postgraduate degree (MSc or equivalent) in a related discipline.
- Have a research proposal and a supervising host institution outside your own nation.
- Commit to returning to your native country after the fellowship to continue research or clinical work in MS.
- Submit a full application with all references and host endorsement.
